Converge Artist Workplace

UPDATED March 9, 2021

It is common knowledge that COVID-19 novel coronavirus is devastating to the lives and health of people all over the world. There is not a single person or business that has not been impacted by the current global pandemic.

As of March 9, 2021, in the US there are over 527,000 confirmed deaths because of COVID-19. In Dallas County alone, there are 284,000 confirmed cases, with 3,500 confirmed deaths

The vaccines currently being administered are not sufficient to yet combat the level of infection and death that COVID-19 is still inflicting on the population.

As of March 9, 2021, the current number of vaccines administered in the US is 92,000,000 (31,000,000 fully vaccinated), which is only 9.5% of the total US population. In Texas, the current number of vaccines administered is 7,300,000 (2,400,000 fully vaccinated), which is only 8.5% of the total population.

These numbers, and the new development of at least three more highly contagious strains of COVID-19 now prevalent in the US, are factors that do not indicate a strong level of safety.

Converge Studios cannot be made safe for the general public or staff, as the studios share a common air space, and social distancing is impossible because of the design of the building.

Converge Studios management has made the decision to keep the facility closed to the public until we feel that the pandemic is under control.

To summarize:

1. Until further notice, *NO* studio tours will be scheduled.

2. Until further notice, *NO* studios will be rented.

3. There will be no exceptions.

Converge Studios thanks everyone for their understanding and patience in the midst of this global pandemic.

We encourage everyone to stay informed, stay home, and stay safe.
